BiU’s the Future of Net-Zero and SECR Masterclass Spring Events

SECR and Net Zero Events

This spring our Chief Commerical Officer, Anthony Mayall, will be hosting a selection of free energy and compliance industry events across the UK providing a range of industry insights, resources and expert speakers covering mandatory legislation for Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR) as well as practical ideas for the road to net-zero carbon.

Events will be hosted from March in the British Library in London, the Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottingham and the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, and be available for morning, afternoon or twilight sessions to suit a range of needs for busy energy professionals.

  • With the morning CPD accredited SECR Masterclass you’ll gain in depth knowledge into the mandatory carbon and energy reporting and discover how to turn SECR into opportunities for profit and the planet.
  • Due to demand BiU have added a twilight Bitesize SECR seminar for energy compliance professionals to gain highlight information to help their business comply with SECR, as well as key knowledge and insights to develop a strategy for compliance and energy reduction.
  • The masterclasses, and the evening bitesize seminars, are aimed at representatives from companies that are required to report under the SECR mandatory compliance scheme, energy and environmental managers that are looking to reduce their energy and carbon emissions as well as financial directors that will be required to sign-off their annual accounts (which under SECR are required to disclose their Energy and Carbon SECR Report).

To complement the SECR events, BiU will also be holding their first set of Net-Zero insight seminars in the afternoon featuring industry leading guests that will delve into the zero-carbon agenda through translating targets, on and offsite carbon solutions and build communications.

Each event has an opportunity to pick the brains of BiU energy experts and industry guests, as well as network with likeminded professionals over a bite to eat and drink.
